Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and [legal entity name] ("JeevanOS", "we", "us"), [registered address], India. By using khakta.com or the JeevanOS app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use JeevanOS

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You are responsible for anything done through your account.

3. The free app

The free web app runs in your browser and stores data on your device. Because of that:

• We have no copy of your data and cannot restore it for you.
• Clearing browser data, uninstalling, or switching device will lose it unless you exported a backup.
• Keeping backups is your responsibility. The Export button exists for exactly this.

4. Your content

Everything you write stays yours. You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence needed to store and display it back to you, and — where you explicitly ask for an AI feature — to process that specific content in order to answer you. We claim no ownership, we do not publish your content, and we do not use your private entries to train models.

5. Paid plans

• Pro is billed monthly or annually in Indian Rupees, in advance.
• Prices shown include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• A "founding member" price, once granted, stays at that rate for as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
• You can cancel any time; access runs to the end of the paid period.
• Fair use applies to AI features. If usage is extreme enough to threaten the service, we will contact you before limiting anything.

6. Make It Happen — what we are, and what we are not

Make It Happen connects you with independent providers — freelancers, homestays, drivers, guides, shops and other businesses.

• Providers are independent. They are not our employees, agents or partners. We do not perform the services ourselves unless a listing explicitly says JeevanOS is fulfilling it directly.
• Our role is to introduce the parties, hold funds until you approve delivery, and help resolve disputes. The service contract for the work itself is between you and the provider.
• Verification is limited. A verified badge means we checked identity documents and, in some cases, a test task. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety or outcome.
• Commission. We take a commission on each completed job, typically 15–25%. You will always see the total price before you agree. Providers always see what they will receive.

7. How a job works

1. You describe what you want and set an offer and deadline.
2. You and the provider (or we, on their behalf) agree terms in writing in the app.
3. Funds are collected on agreement and held.
4. The provider delivers and submits proof.
5. You approve, and funds are released. If you don't respond within [7] days of delivery, the job auto-approves.
6. Both sides rate each other.

All deals must stay on the platform. Taking an introduction off-platform to avoid commission is grounds for immediate removal of either party, and forfeits any dispute protection.

8. Disputes

Raise a dispute in the app before the auto-approval window closes. We will review the written record, the delivery proof and both accounts, and reach a decision that we apply to the held funds. Our decision governs the release of funds we hold; it does not remove either party's other legal rights.

9. Liability

JeevanOS is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) the commission we earned on the specific transaction complained of. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts, omissions, quality or safety of independent providers.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Things you must not do

• Break Indian law, or use the service to harm, harass or defraud anyone.
• Upload content you have no right to, or anything sexual involving minors, or content inciting violence.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attack the service.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your credentials as a provider.
• Route agreed deals off-platform to dodge commission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that do these things, and we will tell you why.

11. Ending things

You may stop using JeevanOS and delete your account at any time. We may terminate for breach of these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice — in which case we will refund any unused prepaid period and give you time to export your data.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least [14] days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city, state] have exclusive jurisdiction.
